Wedding cakes featuring hand made models of the bride and groom can be very effective in expressing your sense of humour, definitely for those looking for something different! Our bride and groom wedding cake range features personalised handmade models of bride and groom, and sometimes bridesmaids, page-boys, and even the occasional sugar-crafted dog or cat!

we create the details by hand from sugar, and include hand-painted kilts, bridal gowns, miniature replicas of floral bouquets in sugar, as you can see in the cake pictures shown above.

We personally deliver and set up our Wedding Cakes all over Scotland, including Gretna, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Lanarkshire, Loch Lomond, Fife, the Scottish Borders, the Highlands, Perthshire and Ayrshire.

We offer a choice of flavours for your wedding cake, including combinations of Chocolate wedding cake, Lemon drizzle flavour, Toffee caramel, and of course our famous Traditional Rich Fruit Cake.

Jenny's Cakes has been supplying exquisite handmade wedding cakes in Lanarkshire, Scotland since 1986. Jenny rebuilt the disused blacksmith's shop which adjoined the cottage in Crossford in the heart of the beautiful Clyde Valley, and converted it into a bakery purpose-designed for baking and decorating handmade wedding cakes. We recently finished a complete refit of the bakery, now with a funky cherry red look!

We feel strongly that you should have the opportunity to see where your cake is made, to have a look at some works in progress, discuss ideas, and have space to work with Jenny and the team to design the perfect cake. A very important part of the consultation process is our free 'Tea and Tasters' visit, where guests taste various flavours of delicious sponge cake, as well as Jenny's famed rich fruit cake.

Jenny's Cakes is totally dedicated to the pursuit of quality, sourcing the best ingredients available, using the highest quality professional equipment, using passion and flair with infinite attention to detail, and dedication to giving each client individual attention and a unique wedding cake that is truly different!

We also provide a range of chocolate cakes to cater for our chocaholic brides.

If you are getting married in Scotland, but are not Scottish yourself, we often create designs to incorporate different nationalities in the design. This can be achieved using national flowers, such as thistles and roses to signify a Scottish and English union, or national flags created in sugar.

Each wedding cake can then be arranged using a choice of methods such as-

modern stacked wedding cake designs, cake designs using modern perspex separators, to the use of metal step stands,and even using pillars for a taller look.
