We have over THIRTY years experience at Jenny's Cakes, working with brides and grooms at our bakery in Crossford.

Your chocolate wedding cake is designed and made specially for you, following a full consultation to discuss YOUR ideas and the theme of your wedding.
Our chocolate wedding cakes are coated in a chocolate ganache, belgian chocolate curls, or chocolate-flavoured sugar paste. This has the advantage that it does not need to be refrigerated during transport, or at your wedding reception. Inside is a scrumptious chocolate sponge, split and coated with chocolate buttercream, then marzipanned to keep the goodness in.

We feel strongly that you should have the opportunity to see where your cake is made, to have a look at some works in progress, discuss ideas, and have space to work with Jenny and the team to design the perfect cake. A very important part of the consultation process is our free 'Tea and Tasters' visit, where guests taste various flavours of delicious sponge cake, as well as Jenny's famed rich fruit cake.

Each chocolate cake is a one-off design, designed and made to match your unique character and personality.

Wedding cakes can be made in lots of sizes and numbers of tiers, and a variety of shapes and colours, to suit a wide range of wedding venues and sizes.

Most of our 'masterpieces' are decorated with hand-made sugar crafted items, typically sugar flowers to match the bridal bouquet.

If you are getting married in Scotland, but are not Scottish yourself, we often create designs to incorporate different nationalities in the design. This can be achieved using national flowers, such as thistles and roses to signify a Scottish and English union, or national flags created in sugar.

Each wedding cake can then be arranged using a choice of methods such as-

modern stacked wedding cake designs, or
cake designs using modern perspex separators,
to the use of metal step stands,
and even using pillars for a taller look.
