These cakes are actually coated in a chocolate-flavoured sugar paste. This looks like chocolate, and tastes very 'chocolatey', but has the advantage that it does not need to be refrigerated during transport, or at your wedding reception.

We work in a PROFESSIONAL BAKERY, custom-designed for wedding cake production, and NOT from a domestic kitchen! The bakery is located in Central Scotland, in the village of Crossford in the beautiful Clyde Valley.
Since 1986, Jenny and her team have produced over a thousand Wedding Cakes for couples celebrating their wedding in Scotland. We are confident that we can meet, and surpass, your expectations!
Jenny Breen, the proprietor of Jenny's Cakes, has over THIRTY years of training and experience, including four years full-time study at Birmingham College of Food and Domestic Arts. Jenny's Qualifications include :-
National Bakery Diploma.
College Associateship in Food Technology.
Diploma & Certificate of the Institute of Public Health and Hygiene.
Basic and Advanced City & Guilds Certificates in Breadmaking and Flour Confectionery.
Jenny's previous experience includes posts as Test Baker with Fuller Kunzles (Birmingham), Raw Materials Testing with Chief Chemist at Fuller Kunzles, Confectioner and Baker with Cadena Cakes (Bristol), and Owner of Jenny's Patisserie, Crossford.
We bring THIRTY years experience to creating cakes of elegance, style and quality. The bakery is among the best in Scotland, fully equipped with all the professional facilities required to make sure that your wedding cake tastes heavenly, and looks fabulous.
We limit our work to ensure that clients have only the best. Each cake is specially designed to enhance the theme of your wedding, including cake size, colours, shape, sugar floral art, ribbons, etc. Cakes can be a combination of chocolate sponge, vanilla sponge, lemon sponge or our scrumptious Rich Fruit cake, matured in fine French brandy.
