Each Christening Cake is individually baked, decorated and made to order by Jenny, assisted by the rest of her small team.
The christening cake picture here shows a number of decorating methods, starting with a 3D shaped or sculptured cake, which is made from a number of separate pieces.
In addition, a technique called FLOODED ARTWORK is used to produce the patterned blanket and the balloons, and the naem inscription.
Finally, the elephants are modelled as separate pieces and applied to the cake.
This involves preparing artwork and colour schemes, and drawing the outlines on the surface of the cake, and filling in and colouring each section individually.
