Jenny's Wedding Cake Online Cake Shop- Terms and Conditions
PLEASE NOTE- These Terms and Conditions apply to specific cakes ordered online- different Terms and Conditions apply to cakes designed and ordered at our Bakery.
1. Acceptance of Your Order.
We limit our work to reach the highest quality- We advise at least 3 months notice for online wedding cake orders, but can usually accomodate short notice orders, particularly outwith the peak wedding season.
On receipt of your order, we will check our bakery schedule for your wedding date and will let you know if there is a problem with your order within THREE working days. If we cannot meet your delivery date, we will provide a FULL refund using the same card/method used to pay for your cake. We advise at least 1 months notice for online Celebration cake orders. We are happy to confirm availability for your date by phone before ordering.
2. Order Confirmation.
We will normally confirm your order by email within 2-3 working days of receipt of your order. We will advise you if any order details need clarification- this will normally be done by email at least 1 -2 months before your wedding.
You may cancel your order up to THREE months before your cake is required. In this case a non-refundable deposit of £50 (single or two-tier cakes) or £100 (for three-tier cakes) will be retained, and the balance of your payment will be returned to you. If you wish to cancel your cake within three months of your wedding date, no refund will be given, except in exceptional circumstances, and then at the sole discretion of the Directors of Jenny's Cakes Ltd. 4. Portion Guide.
Each cake on our online cake shop is given a portion guide. This is dependant on the portion size cut by your venue staff.
5. Prices, Payment and Variations
This 'Gretna' range of cakes is substantially lower in price when compared to our other ranges shown on this website.
We have achieved these low prices by reducing sizes and simplifying/standardising the decoration, and negating the need for design time and meeting clients at the bakery for Taster sessions and design consultations. Payment is made in full at time of booking, to assist cash flow and keep costs down, but you CAN cancel your order subject to Cancellation policy above.
Small variations will be accommodated wherever possible. Ribbons and other decorations may not be an exact match to those shown, due to circumstances beyond our control.
