Wedding Cakes Scotland's finest and most elegant wedding cakes made by hand at Jenny's Cakes in Crossford, near Glasgow and Edinburgh.
We at Jenny's Cakes have been designing, baking and decorating wedding cakes in our architect-designed bakery in Crossford for almost 30 years.
In the early days, most of our cakes were rich fruit cake, decorated with royal icing and marzipan.
Nowadays, we use softer fondant icing to cover our cakes, and this gives allows us to have different cake flavours or fillings for each tier. Many clients order cakes comprising all sponge tiers.
We have a number of wedding cake galleries, listed below-
Budget Wedding Cakes - Our Simply Chic Range
We currently offer vanilla sponge, Victoria Sponge with jam and butter-cream filling, Lemon Drizzle (made with the zest and juice of real organic unwaxed lemons!), Toffee Caramel and Chocolate Sponge.
We also offer a delicious 'Golden' rich Fruit cake, made with scrumptious california vine fruits, raisins, cherries, sultanas, ground almonds, mixed nuts and juicy citrus peel.
Many clients have one tier of Rich Fruit, to add a touch of tradition to complement the sponge tiers, but this is not compulsory!
We are often asked for gluten-free wedding cakes, and these can be incorporated into the wedding cake itself, or as a separate cutting cake.
We tailor the size of cake to suit each wedding, ranging from a single tier cake to suit 20-30 guests, all the way to six tiers and beyond for the larger wedding.
At Jenny's Cakes, we are justly famed for the quality of our sugar-crafted flowers, such as roses, peonies, calla lilies and daisies. We also offer vintage styles featuring antique brooches and wide satin ribbons.
For couples looking for a fun element, we can make sugar-crafted models of the bride and groom from sugar, and can incorporate lots of details such as hair styles and colours, tiara, bouquet, wedding gown, etc. and for the grooms details of the kilt can be painted by hand.
